Considering doing the walk but starting to think that it might be too hot to even enjoy the experience. What do you guys think? Currently in Seville and it's about 40 today and I could not even think about hiking in this heat. at 11:00am this morning signs already said 31!

Any previous experiences? thanks and good luck to all on your walks.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

The further north you go, the cooler it gets. That's not to say you won't have hot days on the camino Frances, but from Ponferrada you start climbing up to Villafranca and then to O Cebreiro - second highest place on the route in Spain at 1300m.
The route from Sarria to Santiago passes through many leafy corriedors and Eycalyptus forests. Take a chance! If you get hot there are fuentes and rios where you can cool off!
