Well you would think so .....but not quite.
With all the new development , I decided to support the old gal who has been running the Albergue for 10 years - I have been there on many occasions and always had a great time ........I was really worried about her well being.
But , no need ............... at 12am , she only had eight beds left and pilgrims stood in a queue to get in .
She is slightly cheaper ...but here is the thing ......she accepts bookings and has been on agencies books for 10 years ................ she has a KITCHEN and almost every day a bag of fresh vegies arrives and groups get stuck in cooking - Spanish and Italian men love to show off their cooking skills! - you may sleep in a bed or on a mat under a covered porch for half the price. She sells Vino , beers and cool drinks - She smiles , SHE LAUGHS!!
This was one of the first New , Tradditional Albergues , will all the trimmings ............. all those pilgrims , the cooking . ......... the chats .......... the love .................. ??
