Due to the train strike I will not be arriving in saint-jean-pied-de-port until 5 p.m. does anyone know what time the stores or tourist office or open till?

A selection of Camino Jewellery
I think the pilgrim office is open until the last transport from Bayonne has arrived whether thats by train or bus, not sure about the stores but if I remember right they should be open still. Someone with more up to date knowledge will be along if I've got this all wrong.

Pilgrim Office is open until about 8pm so you're fine on that count. For other shops it slightly depends on the day but most places should still be open unless it's a Sunday.

Buen Camino.

Rob.
