Hi Guys! Does anyone know the best way to get from Porto to Tui (or Valenca)? I've tried to look up trains and buses but can't really find anything. Do I need to book or is it ok to just do it a few days before?

Thanks in advance!

Tui is connected to Vigo by ATSA bus.

So it might work best to plan to go to Vigo and then back.

Take CP Celta train from Porto Campanha to Vigo.

Autna offers bus service from Porto to Vigo with a stop in Valenca.

Else;

Take CP train from Porto Campanha to Valenca.

Rede Expressos offers bus service from Porto to Valenca.

Renfe operates a train from Valenca to Vigo via Tui.

Apparently it is a short walk from Valenca to Tui.

If walking the few kilometres from Valenca to Tui, be aware that time goes forward by one hour as you cross the bridge into Spain.

Hi, the Alsa bus goes from Porto to Tui / Tuy:

https://www.alsa.es/en

Three departures per day at the moment:
From Porto Airport Sa Carneiro (Portugal)
To Tuy (Spain)
At 09:45, 13:00 and 17:30

Takes about one and a half hours.

As said above, Portugal is one hour behind Spain.
So above departures arrive in Tui/Tuy at:
12:05, 15:50 and 19:50.

Hi: I recently took the ALSA bus from SdC to Porto. It made four or five quick stops on the way, including Vigo and Valenca. So IF it works the same way heading north, you might want to check for buses from Porto to either Vigo or SdC.
