Train or car together from Barcelona to Pamplona Sept 7, 2022

Hello fellow travellers,

I will be travelling from Barcelona to St. Jean Pied de Port, via Pamplona on 7th Sept 2022 (Wednesday). Would anyone like to car share (with an app called Blabla, I think?) or take the train together to Pamplona? If there is an available car service that could bring us all the way to SJPP, that'll be good but I'm happy to take a train too.

Let me know. I begin my Camino Frances (my first Camino) on 10 Sept from SJPP. Am looking forward to the Camino!

I'm taking the 3:00 pm train from Barcelona to Pamplona on the 7th, arriving at 7:22 pm. I will stay overnight in Pamplona and taking the 12:00 pm bus to to SJPD on the 8th. Starting my walk on the 9th.

Yes I've decided to take the train too! I will be staying overnight at Pamplona too because there is only 1 bus service the next day (seems to be), and I'll catch it on the 8th too to SJPD. Will you be staying in Barcelona the night before as well? (on 6th Sept)? Do let me know if you'd like to walk to the train station together etc. I haven't decided where to stay at Barcelona yet. But it's a big city (I've heard, haven't been) and just thought it'll be nice (and safer) to walk with someone to the train station with my obviously touristy backpack

That was a good idea to put that out there. I’m taking train then bus from Barcelona to SJPDP on August 28-29. Note that the times don’t match up to get it done in one day. Train one day, bus the next. Earliest train doesn’t arrive until bus has already left.

Hi Stephanie,
I’m staying at Hotel Colon in Barcelona (close to la Sagrada Familia) on the 6th. I’ll be visiting my brother in Barcelona for just the 6th and early 7th (wow! After a few decades without seeing each other). He’ll drop me off at the train station, so I may not be able to walk with you.
In the next week or so I should have a better sense of his plans. I’ll keep in touch!
