I have bus tickets on the 7th and 8th. Anyone in Spain know if the buses are impacted (besides being full)?

I don't think so. I am planning a train ride Barcelona-Pamplona on Oct. 18, but may have to resort to bus. Eventually enjoy Barcelona for a few days... :(

Check Iberia website I have gotten fares cheaper than busses or trains at times. I just checked and there is a 10:00AM flight through Madrid that gets you into Pamplona at 13:20. I see the bus is only about 33 Euros as opposed to 98 for the plane but it is over 7 hours on the bus. Just an idea for you.

The train strike is real. I flew from Santiago to Madrid today and planned to take the train to Atocha station and found out no trains were running. Finally had figured out how to but the ticket and get off at the right place😞 Went to the metro ticket and saw I would have to make 2 changes and not almost being able to walk wasn’t up for that. Went out to the taxi line which is usually nothing and stood in line with about 399 others for a cab. When I got to where I always stay my host told me the yellow airport bus goes directly to Atocha station. Check your tickets for strike info. And this is the 1st time I went out after dark to see the shadow.
