back on the Frances in May 2022
Hi everyone. Glad to say I am back on the Camino Frances in May 2022 starting from SJPP. I only have 10 days ( 9 days walking) this year due to work commitments so got a couple of questions.

Were hoping to get to Belorado by the last walking day and then need to get to Burgos to get a train to Madrid tog et our flights back home. How easy is it to get from Belorado to Burgos ? ie is there a train ? or is it bus/taxi ?

We've got a midday train from Burgos to Madrid to catch so just wondered if anyone can help and save me the research.

Cheers guys

Hi Mark,

The Jiménez Movilidad site shows 5 buses a day from Belorado to Burgos, with a typical journey time of 45 minutes.

The same operator also has a direct bus from Belorado to Madrid. Here's a screenshot of the times (using a March date). You'll need to check this again in May, but it will probably be more or less the same.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Thanks NuulaOC

seems just as easy to go from belorado to Madrid and miss Burgos out although I do love Burgos and would be good to see it again. Some beers in Madrid to end our camino is the main end to the day we looking for though. chilling in the sun with a cold Estrella. Thanks for your advise. been camino
