TRANSFER FROM CHARLES DE GAULLE TO AUSTERLITZ

Hello,

Could anyone inform me what transfer to take from Charles de Gaulle to Gare Austerlitz? My flight arrives at 5:10 pm and I am taking the SNCF train from Paris to Bayonne at 11:30pm, same day. I searched the internet for transfers from Paris airports to Paris train stations, and the only information I found was trains coming from Charles de Gaule for Montparness, Gare du Nord and Gare Lyon.

Thank you for the information.

You will need to take the RER B from CDG, then change for Gare d'Austerlitz. There are a couple of ways of doing this.
Possibly the easiest is to take RER B from CDG to St Michel-Notre Dame. Then change to RER C in the direction of Massy-Palaiseau / Versailles Chantiers (But NOT Versailles Rive Gauche) or St Martin d'Etampes.
If the varied endpoints of RER C seem too confusing, you could get off RER B at Gare Du Nord then take Metro Line 5 in the direction of Place d'Italie. The RER ticket you buy at CDG will also cover the metro journey to Austerlitz.
All the best for your journey.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

if I were you, I would catch the RER into town, say, St-Michel/Notre-Dame as previously suggested, get something to eat/drink, along the rue saint Jacques perhaps, then walk to Austerlitz - 15-20 minutes.

There is also an Air France bus that will take you to Gare d'Austerlitz. You can get information on this at CDG, the cost is about 15euros.

Just one more opinion here -- though the RER may be faster, I have found that the Air France bus is easier. It's non-stop, you don't have to worry about pick-pockets, and you do catch a view of some Paris neighborhoods.
