Can anyone suggest the cheapest way for 5 people to get from St Jean to Ronscevalles on 26th March? Buses are not operating at that time.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, as far as I can see that is true. It is strange because they seem to run the bus only into France at that time.

There is bus service on Tuesdays and Fridays from Arneguy (technically not, the bus stop is maybe 100 m across the border in Spain). The stop is just a few hours walk from SJPdP on the camino. Trouble is the bus stops only in Valcarlos and Pamplona. The bus routes are regulated by the Navarre government so the bus companies don't step on each others toes and that makes logical travel difficult. If interested in this bus trip let me know and I'll post more.

In the meantime think Express Bouricot or taxis.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I guess that my question is where are you coming from before St Jean? Maybe there is better transportation from that place to Roncesvalles skipping St Jean.
