We are trying to get our train tickets from Paris to Bayonne. We arrive at 9:45 am. Would 3 hours be enough time to get to Montparnasse and catch a train. I can't find this question answered anywhere, but i'm sure it has been. Por Favor and Muchas Gracias

Where do you arrive to?

Hi Joodle - I take it you are flying in to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (?) It should be 1hr 20 min - 1hr 45 min, depending on the train departure time, to Montparnasse from Ch-de-G airport - but with connections to take on foot, metro and/or bus, so check the route and train carefully (some have fewer connections to take). From my experiences of that wonderful city, the transport infrastructure is excellent - especially from airports connecting to the city, but a problem if perhaps you have serious flight delays. You should be able to check this out on the web.Traveling so far to Paris, why not stay overnight or a couple of nights? But I love the city and would take that sort of opportunity to stay a while. Perhaps its different for yourselves. Buen Camino, best wishes. Keith

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Are you arriving by plane at Charles de Gaulle airport? If so you do not necessarily have to catch the train from Montparnasse. There is a TGV directly from the airport - some require a change of train to get to Bayonne. It is worth searching on the OUI.SNCF website. Here is a shot of the timetable52671

Thanks Keith. We will be staying in Paris for a few days at the end of our journey. My friend speaks French as she is from Canada

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Thanks Kanga!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Short answer... Yes. However, you need to provide for checked baggage delivery, and then the bus shuttle from outside the baggage claim / customs exit and Gare Montparnasse.

Once the shuttle bus departs, the ride is about 45. - 50 minutes. So, if you assume one hour from landing, through passport control, and a (rounded) one-hour bus ride. That leaves you one hour “wiggle room.”

I suppose the question remains “do you feel lucky?”

Well, This is going to be the third time I have been able to go on a camino, so Yes, I do feel lucky!!
