Iam walking from Moissac to Pamplona to fill in a stage between Le Puy and Santiago de Compostela, has anyone got any information of transport routes from Pamplona, I need to end up in Monaco and would prefer to travel by train. I don't mind taking a few days, thank you Joanna

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi there Joanna,

You will need a few days! :D

The only train routes that cross the Pyrenees are at each end of it, so if you travel by train you have two options: via San Sebastian or via Barcelona.

You can catch a train from Pamplona to San Sebasitian (Donostia) to Bayonne (check the Renfe and Rail Europe websites). You can catch a train from Bayonne to Monaco with 2 connections (check the TGV Europe website).

You can catch a train from Pamplona to Barcelona (check Renfe website). You can then catch a train from Barelona to Monaco (check the TGV Europe website) again with 2 connections.

You could mix it up a bit and train to Barcelona, ferry to Genoa (Italy) (See Directferries.co.uk) then train to Monaco!

These are only 3 of the awesome options you have open to you!

Cheers,

Jason.

Thanks Jason, looks like I have some exciting planning to do Joanna
