Travel from Paris to Biarritz

Hello,
We are flying into Paris on 23 May and thought we would take the train to Biarritz for a de-jet lag day and then onto SJPdP. Because of the train strike we are wondering if we should fly instead. What do you think? And if you think flying is a good idea can you recommend an airline? Easy jet looks quite inexpensive.

I would fly whichever airline is cheapest and you can spend the night in Bayonne if you want to shake off the jet lag.

It's such a cheap flight I wouldn't worry too much about the carrier, just make sure there aren't any hidden extras such as baggage fees that push the price above others.

If for some reason all the flights are full that day AND the trains are not running (I'm ever the optimist ) the last resort is a long-distance bus service. Both Ouibus and Flixbus run buses from Paris to Bayonne. Overnight mostly.
