Pay walls becoming the norm, the popular linking of magazine- and newspaper articles in this forum should be discouraged.
Hopefully these media will rethink their strategies; yes, in order to survive, journalism needs to be paid, but no, people cannot be expected to subscribe just to read an occasional article. And Google News ought to pay for each article they publish.

Pay wall, a new term to me. I could read the article. Most of the things mentioned were more suited for regular travelers, but compression socks, colorful band aids and small tea bricks are worth a look.

I have run into that before especially with online newspapers, just had never heard the term before. It was not difficult to understand. Most news these days is about people coping with staying at home and the virus worldwide.
