Trying to contact a September 2010 pilgrim

Camino Frances (2010)
This is a long shot, but I'm hoping I might find someone here who walked the Camino Frances in September 2010 and who may have an e-mail address for a person I met while I was walking.

The person is Jacques, a Belgian man in his 70s, who was walking with some of his family - adult children and perhaps grandchildren. I met him in Terradillos de los Templarios at the Albergue Los Templarios on 14th September 2010.

I gave Jacques my e-mail address and he said he would write and might visit Ireland some day and we could meet again. I did not hear from him and I don't have an issue with that. However I realised after some time that it is quite possible that I accidentally deleted an e-mail from him due to spam issues with my e-mail at the time. I often think of him and just thought I'd give this a shot, in the hope that someone else might have an e-mail address for him. If you think you might have met Jacques, please PM me and we could verify that we are talking about the same man.

Thanks,

Mary.

You have the name of the alberguer, the date of stay, and his name. Try and contact the alberguer and request from a helpfull hospitalero/a to look in their sign in roster and help you out. Don't give up trying. Years ago I found a lady with just her name and the country that she was moving to work at.

Thank you for your suggestion and encouragement. I will try that.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Hi Mary,
If Jacques is from the flemish part of Belgium he might be a member of the flemish confraternity. They are very helpful so you might mail them for info.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thank you Sabine,

He is from Ghent. So I will definitely follow that up.

Best wishes,

Mary.

Hi Mary,

Just got the recent e-magazine from our flemish confraternity. I noticed they publicised your question.
Fingers crossed.
