Trying to find an old friend here..

Time of past OR future Camino
French Way this year
Hey all
Im trying to locate an old friend user here. Got my old phone stolen and lost my old account. Her user name was something like LawGal or something like that. She was a retired lawyer from Boston and was very kind to me and helped me along the way.
Anyone knows how to possibly find users? Is there a user list of some sort somewhere?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Also, I will add that even though I thought I was logged in, when I just tried to post that reply on my iPhone on the App I got a message saying I had to log in. This has been happening a lot since the upgrades to the website. Of course Google wants me to log in thru them but I never do that.
I find it does this when I don't tick the 'stay logged in' box on the sign-in page, but there might be other reasons for this behaviour.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Unfortunately, I don't think that method of tagging to alert a member works on this forum.

I will test it here... @Perambulating Griffin , did you receive any alert for this @Perambulating Griffin ?
Huh… I didn’t ! I *used to*! So… now I’m a bit confused about what the tagging does if not alert someone that they are being cited? Or called into a conversation thread…

It seems that it should if you have the box checked, but I don't see any "mentions" in my alerts. Definitely a question for @ivar. (who probably won't be alerted to this message 😄)

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Ok, I have made some changes in the backend.. see if it is working now @trecile
I don't know if it IS working now, but now I'm thinking how serendipitous it is that in trying to find me, not only was this post successful in actually finding me, but also helped find a feature that was no longer working! (and maybe even resulted in it being fixed!)

Yes, there is a Members tab on the menu bar on my laptop, or at the bottom of the menu list (three horizontal parallel line) on my smartphone. That wasn't helpful finding what might be your earlier account. In this case, I used a technique that I use from time to time if I want to find what forum name a deleted member once used. I search for a post that was made by that deleted member, and see if that post has been referred to by another member, when it might have their former forum name in the text. That is generally sufficient for my purposes. In your case, this was simplified by the fact that your earlier forum account was still active, albeit it does not appear to show up when I search using the members page.

I think the OP can find their previous account under pablovergara

That's a hidden profile, although I remember the individual from their posts a couple of months ago. I will bow out of the discussion here, and let @ivar or the moderators sort out whatever needs to be done to help this person with their two accounts.
