I was watching "gente" on TVE just now, and they had a piece on the cold and snowy weather. They had a reporter outside the albergue in Roncesvalles. The link above has the program, 1 day delayed, so I guess it will be there tomorrow.... it was about 15 minutes from the end.
Today there are 6 pilgrims in the albergue. 1 Irishman, 2 Germans, 1 Canadian, 1 Spaniard.... (don't know who is the last one). They had -3c and it looked like 2-3 cm of snow.... that Canadian man looked familiar... I bet he is a forum member, but I am not sure. Was looking for the badge, but did not see it..
By the way, max temp in Santiago today, 4c! -3c as minimum last night.... northern Spain has had a few days with clear skies, but cold weather.
Saludos,
Ivar
