Two silk liners

Kiwi-family

walking every day for the rest of my life
I am still ummming and ahhing about whether I need a sleeping bag on the Salvador/Primitivo in June. Today I wondered about taking two silk liners. I have a lightweight one (119g), which is what I intend to take regardless, but we also have some heavier ones (270g) which I'm thinking would be warmer than nothing, but much lighter than my 1120g sleeping bag. The cold weather of winter is now past and so I have missed the opportunity to try it out before going. (I tried using just the liner and wearing thermals, but it was just too cold so if an albergue did not have blankets I would be miserable).
(I'm thinking I would need the sleeping bag for our circuit from Pamplona to Saint Jean to Bayonne and back to Pamplona in May - but then when hubby comes up he could bring the extra liners for the boys and me, and take our sleeping bags back with him. My weight concern is that on the Salvador and Primitivo *I* will need to carry more food - I won't expect the little girls - 8yo and 10yo - to carry more than their own gear and water.)
Has anyone done anything like this?
