Dear Nuno
Just got the info through the 2007 update on John Brierley's excellent guide to the Camino Portuguése:
"A credencial is also now available from the Albergue in
Rates where the energetic Nuno Ribeiro may offer the ancient mystical
Queimada experience as a welcoming ritual."
Look forward to seeing around June 10th you to find out more about your ritual!!

Hello Bente,

Glad to see you decided to join this forum. You have experiences to share and you can help others. You can also sing us a song if you wish...

I have decided to walk from Lisbon to Santiago in April 2008 (such a long wait); I hope you have a nice time on the Camino Portugès and I will surely ask you for advice once you return.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I'll be happy to share my experiences with you all. But it is obvious that I need to learn to use this Forum a little bit better. Meanwhile I sure will sing a song or two and send you all my kindest thoughts.
I must admit waking the stretch to Tui alone feels a little bit scary at the moment.
