Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Just finished reading this book. It is quite funny and so much of it resonated with some of our experiences. Worth reading for a good laugh and remembrances of wonderful people that you meet along the way. The part about the albergue at Melide was so true!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi Anniesantiago. We bought the book at a Borders store in Brisbane that was closing down.It still may be possible to purchase it online through Borders in Australia as they are trying to offload most of their books online now. We have promised to lend it to our fellow pelegrinos in our town, so can't give it to you. However, we may be able to get a spare copy. Will keep our eyes open!

hola all - this book was reviewed this w/end in one of the Australian broadsheets' Travel section - I think it was the SMH's. The reviewer thought it was amusing and warned (wagged his finger?) that readers shouldn't expect too much in anyway revealing of spiritual insights gained during the author's 800km trek. I have been meaning to finish it during the last few months but haven't had the inclination to presevere after dipping into several pages here and there - that don't mean nuttin' mind you, as I've been singularly disinclined to read anything at all in past few months 'cept a few blogs!.... must be getting itchy feet and be feeling another camino coming on ...whatcha reckon?
