We are planning on starting our walk in Geneva (a couple of years away). Saw a you tube clip of a pilgrim using the Saleve cable car on day 1. This appeals on a number of levels and something I would like to find out more about. Has anyone used it on day 1? When you get off the cable car at the top of the hill, does it join the Camino path easily enough? Are you in France at the top of the hill and if I do catch the cable car will I miss the one and only border crossing or is there another? Thanks.
