Well, Tuesday night i stay in the hotel Ramuntcho in SJPDP and kick of for Val Carlos on wednesday morning. I want to take this opportunity of thanking all those who have contributed to this forum which is invaluable for planning purposes. I will do a summary on my return and hope to share any insights i pick up on route. Still trying to trim my pack which is currently 10kg with about 2 kg of necessary medical equipment so not too bad especially for the time of year. Thanks for all the help.
