Variante Espiritual – Boat from Vila Nova de Arousa to Pontecesures

Hi, could those of you who have walked the Variante Espiritual this year let me know if there was any problem getting a place on the boat? For example, if there were many people wanting tickets, did they put on an extra boat? Or did some people have to wait until the next day, or walk, or get a bus? Thanks!

The day we took the boat there were two large groups so a large catamaran was used instead of the smaller boats that are shown on the flyer. Be sure to contact the hospitalero in Vilanova a day ahead to inquire about departure time and tickets.
