Hi.
I just started the Facebook page "Via de la Plata Trail App," and I'm hoping everyone interested in the trail will check it out: http://www.facebook.com/pages/V%C3%ADa- ... 2511909206.
This page is in no way intended to compete with this forum. Instead, I'm hoping it can act as a supplement to those out on the trail using my trail guide/app. For example, I'm envisioning some of the restaurants and casa rurales along the route posting notes on the FB page if they have special deals or discounts, or perhaps a municipality posting if, say, they've opened a new albergue. (I'm in the process of "friending" a lot of their own Facebook pages and letting them know mine is out there so we can help each other out.) In short, I hope it can be yet another way to help all of us peregrinos out.
