Time of past OR future Camino
2022 Via del la Plata
After much 'argy bargy' fitting in with other family members' plans I finally have a start date for Via del la Plata from Sevilla - 20 September!!!!! Two weeks later than I had initially planned but after warnings about September heat it is probably for the best. Oh it's really happening. 😲 Third Camino coming up.
Firstly I want to thank the Forum and all it's members for your support and kindness. All my individual answers have been answered and many questions I never knew I had have also been answered. New learnings about e-sims and trekking umbrellas etc are priceless, and reminders to PACK LIGHT invaluable. (Thanks Rob)
I am planning to walk all the way with my LIGHT pack on my bag - will see if this is also the Camino's plan for me.
Some reflections around my new start date
  1. I think a lot of albergues might be closed by then and I will need to rely more often on other accomodation (Am using Gronze)
  2. Hoping that there is still enough accomodation to break up the longer stages - although use of taxis is part of my plan to make stages more manageable.
  3. It seems it might be cold and wet in Galecia in November but I am hoping the hot summer will extend into a warm autumn. Warm wet I don't mind but cold wet is not so pleasant.
Again a heart felt thank you - and looking forward to any additional comments and advice.
🙏🏼🌈❤️
