According to municipal sources they are currently looking at three different locations for the shelter in municipally owned buildings. Having a shelter was one of the main objectives and officially established the Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago de Briviesca and Bureba for the city. This facility for the rest of the pilgrims will be operational by next summer with an expected high number of walkers.
Logically, in the early years of promotion of this pilgrimage route the number of pilgrims will not be excessive but if it is expected to gradually increase.
