Hi, does anyone know where I can download detailed maps of each day on the Via de la Plata, and which I can print out at home? I like to write notes on the maps, and at the end of each day I write up my journal on the back. I am not looking for an app. Many thanks.

Hi Jill- try using godesalco.com This site has a google map with the route. You can scroll in and out depending upon how much area you wish to cover. I have not found a print function, but you can use a snip tool to cut out and print that portion that you want at the time. You can then zoom closer to find what you are looking for (ATM, cafe, albergue etc.) and make notes on your printed out map. I am sure there are easier ways of doing this, but I have not found one. Like you, I like to have a daily printout and make notes as I go. It adds more weight to start, but then I take a photo of the previous day and email it to myself, so the paper stack decreases as we walk. Buen Camino planning! :)
