Hi, any recommendations for budget places to stay in Vigo that are close to the official camino path?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Hi Jill, hope all is well! ;)

Are you hugging the coastline from Baiona, or going 'around' the city via O Porrino?

I was in Vigo a few weeks ago and had no problem finding budget hotel accommodation, so maybe just head to booking.com and click on 'map view' to see hotel locations(?) Vigo is a lovely city; thought about flying back there soon to do a bit of walking but couldn't figure out whether it was on the 'official' camino path (although admittedly haven't done much research, more of an idea at this stage...)

Hi Jan, thanks for replying! There are lots of hotels in Vigo on booking.com, and that’s where I’ll probably end up going. I just wondered if there are any cheaper places that cater for pilgrims, like backpacker hostels or pensions that aren’t on booking.com.

By the official camino path I mean the one that goes around the city. It’s a surprisingly pleasant path considering it is so close to the city centre.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-

Great! I'll keep an eye on this thread as I plan to do this route sometime soon (although it was very rainy in Galicia when I was there last month, so might head off to do some walking in the Algarve rather...)
