Vivar del Cid

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Well, a lot of folks spend hours and hours flying to Spain to walk a dusty trail for 30-40 days to end up in a church with a bunch of bones, so why NOT detour a few hours to pay homage in the birthplace of El Cid? In fact, these kind of diversions often result in memorable days as you run into like-minded pilgrims or villagers impressed with your desire to come to their tiny village.

I say go for it! 👍
