Vueling Airline Strike

Just saw a report that Vueling pilots plan to go on strike for four days in April and May in a dispute over contracts. The pilots will walk out for 24 hours on April 25 and 26, and May 3 and 4. My flight out of Santiago is booked for May 3.

Yes, that was my first thought but Iberia flights leaving from Santiago are noted as being operated by Vueling.

So sorry for the distress this is causing you, Theatregal. Can you either delay or advance your Vueling flights? If you are planning on an onward flight, might be worth advancing, with the security of knowing that you will be near your onward airport. Hard choices to be made...

Thank you @kirkie Yes - thinking over the options. Luckily I’m not in a situation of a tight connecting flight. I have a buffer of 3 days between leaving Santiago and flying home.
