Fellow Pilgrims,

Greetings. My daughter and I are looking to walk the Camino Ingles starting from 27 October. I've previously walked the Camino Frances in 2014, so have some past Camino experience. Naturally I am looking forward to repeating the experience.

Mainly in the market for advice on walking at that time of year. I live in Madrid, so I know that part of Spain is likely to see more rain than sunshine.

But I'd welcome insights and experience from fellow Ingles Pilgrims.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Sometimes late October/ early November is great and dry, and sometimes it's the beginning of rainy season (but won't be as miserable and cold as, say, January). I imagine Madrid is getting cold by then, but temperatures here during the day can still be mild-ish. But... these days the weather patterns are changing so fast that it's hard to predict! Enjoy all the planning and Buen Camino.

Hi there. I’m thinking of spending around five to seven days walking the Ingles, and would be interested in getting some input. I’ve walked the Portuges from Porto to Santiago, before continuing...
So, I managed to lose my lovely Tilley hat. Left behind I think, in a shop in Cambre. Going back for it not an option as the place is closed today, Sunday. Am I destined to arrive in Santiago...
