- Time of past OR future Camino
- (winter 2019)
Hi all,
I have a few days at the beginning of the new year and have figured there would be no better way to spend it that walking some part of the Camino. I was originally thinking of doing the Portuguese route from Porto to Santiago, but have heard various opinions on how open the auberges will be during this time. So I have now alternatively begun to look at some routes in Spain.
I would appreciate some opinions on best route, planing to cover 30-40km per day most likely.
I have done a fair bit of hiking and some longer 1 months treks in the past, as well as a 2 month cycle tour across the US, so I believe this will be a reasonable pace to achieve.
Any advice would be appreciated!
