There have been bush fires near Vigo and I am wondering if anyone has recently walked (last 2 days) from aiona to Vigo through the hills - are the fires still a threat, is the smoke terrible, should I go that way. Any advice much appreciated by someone who has walked this way in the last 2 days. Thanks.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
In lieu of a reply from someone in situ, you may find the trending thread on this site ... 'Fires impacting on Camino' ...useful. But just to say that you can get from Baiona to Vigo by way of the senda Litoral which follows the coast line (via Canido) to Vigo. Wishing you all the best and buen camino.
