Walking from Siena (Italy) to Santiago

Hey guys, in May we will start our Camino from Siena to Santiago. This is our second Camino and I have to make a detailed itinerary of where we are going to stay, but I am finding it hard to find Albergues in Italy. Does anyone have any information. I am looking for places to stay or camp in:
San Gimianano
Gambassi Terme
San Miniata
Altopascio
Lucca
Pietrasanta
Sarzana
Borghetto
Cavi
Camogli
Cornigliano
Varrazze
Final Ligure
Andora
San Remo
Menton
Tourette levens
Vence
Mouans

Any help will be welcome as I have to give as much detail as possible. Thanks

Hi Amori, a big welcome to the forum! I cannot help you just yet, as I am still researching it myself, but please keep us posted, as this route is at the top of my bucket list for next year.

You would be able to follow the 'Via Francigena' ( in reverse ) for a lot of your route...

I have been to both Menton and Vence, touristy towns in France, but had no idea they were part of any of the Camino routes! As always, this forum provides learning possibilities at every turn and your proposed route has just done that for me.

I just now saw your post. I walked from Sarzana to Santiago (with some detours) in 2012.

in Sarzana you leave Via Francigena and start on Via della Costa which you follow all the way to France. in 2012 it was (fairly ok) waymarked from Santa Margherita Ligure, but I'm sure the waymarkes have since then been extended to Sarzana. it has its own site which describes the stages in both directions and lists (up to date, hopefully) accommodation options: http://viadellacosta.it/

in France, you join GR 653A Via Aurelia that you follow to Arles. this is the site where to go for info, with downloudable guides, also in italian: http://www.compostelle-paca-corse.info/guides-chemins-paca-gr-653a-gr-653d-leurs-variantes
