I play to begin my walk from St. Jean on September 17th and was wondering if anyone else plans to leave St. Jean on that day. I am traveling alone and hopeing to find some walking friends alone the way.

Thanks!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Hi Alyons,

If things go according to plan I will have gone through St Jean about 10 days before you intend to start. I just want to reassure you that although you may be on your own - you will not be alone. As one who started alone on my first Camino in 2005 I can assure you that you will meet and make friends very quickly, even more so because you will be on your own. Read more on this forum and you will see similiar comments to mine frequently. Go with an open mind and enjoy.

Buen Camino, Janet

If everything goes fine, I will be on the Camino at the same time, but I'm picking up where I left off at Logrono. :)

Don't worry. You'll find plenty of people to hang out with. And who knows? Maybe you'll catch up to me. I'll only be going about 25k per day.
