Walking from New Zealand. Can it be done?

When talking with others en route I was often asked where I was from. I would answer "Aotearoa-New Zealand". Some took a while to work out where that was in relation to where we were. When the penny dropped I would add, with appropriate hand and arm gestures, "and I swam from there to Marseilles" If there was uncertainty I would quickly describe my route. By now at least we would have smiles all around.

I met a Dutch lady at Rabanal and, as you do, asked where she had started her walk.

"Amsterdam"

"No, not where are you from, where did you start your walk?"

"Amsterdam"

Hi is any one thinking of walking from NZ next April/may.
Yes, I am Terry. I'm from Wellington, NZ. I am seriously considering walking my second Camino Frances from SJPdP again next Apr/may. I walked it the same months in 2017. It was wonderful. Great weather. Not too many people. Good luck for your trip! Buen Camino!

Yes to April but not sure which route yet. I agree with @RachelNZ great weather for the most part was great walk be it a bit wet and not too many people before Sarria. Loved every minute

Curious as to why you'd do it again? When there are so many other routes to do? Mind you I tend never to repeat travel destinations in general because there is always something new to do
