Walking the Camino Finisterre Muxia in first week of December 2017

Time of past OR future Camino
FRuture: Camino Sureste (2022)
Dear Forum members,

I am planning to walk the Finisterre / Muxia route and I am considering the first week of December 2017.

On reading the guide books it seems that many albergues remain open only till end of November. Could someone advise me if there are enough beds along the way during this time of the year.

I appreciate your feedback before I book the flights to and from Santiago.

Many Thanks and buen camino,
Ray Aquilina

Ray,
You will find many albergues open and beds available during the first week of December. Check this Euroski list for more info.

Xunta albergues are usually open year round and thus listed as
  • Disponibilidad del albergue: Todo el año
Another good source of info is this Gronze guide which lists both albergues and regular tourist accommodation by location. Tap each citation for a full entry.

My husband and I would like to spend a night in Muxia after walking to Santiago but don’t have time to walk there. Rome to Rio says there’s busses twice daily, but if you go to the Monbus website...
