My wife and I are planning a walk to Lourdes via the Le Puy route (GR #65) and the Arles route (GR #653). We will cross over from the Le Puy route via the Coeur de Gascogne at Lectoure and walk south to Auch, stopping at Roquefort for one night

Next we cross walk along the Arles route Auch to Maubourguet.

We plan to take it easy stopping at Barran, Montesquiou and Marciac.

Can anybody recommend places to stay along this section?

Also I am wondering if the Auch worth spending an extra day to visit some of the sites?
