I would like to know how the weather conditions (the weather forecast )will be in Porto-Tui-Santiago de Compostela in May between the dates of 14-30.
Could you recommend us where we can rent the walking sticks ? Thank you 😊

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I would suggest that no one will know what the weather will be like in 2 months time.
What I find useful, is to have a look at historical weather reports.
This gives an 'idea' of what the weather 'might' be like.
At least in rough terms of seasonal temperature, likelihood of rain and so on.
I'll add some links here in a minute or two that might help.

Here is Porto for May last year.
The site is fairly logical to use.

And another site:

You can check WeatherSpark.com for historical weather conditions of any place in the world. I doubt that the best meteorologist in the world can give you an accurate forecast for two and a half months from now.

Thanks Trecile for you advise. Do you know where we can rent the walking sticks in case if we need them ?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Ok and tku Trecile and where is the place to donate the walking sticks at Santiago de Compostela ?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Yes walking poles are quite inexpensive in Decathlon in spain.
October 2022 I paid 12 euro for a pair in Decathlon..Almería Spain.
Thanks and I will spend couple hours to shopping the necessary equipment that we may need them for emergency purposes.

I wouldn't consider walking sticks / hiking poles, as emergency items.
They are items, like an Umbrella for example, that some people choose to use.
Their use may help to prevent an injury, rather than be used 'after' an injury.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Too early to say -- but the drought that has ongoing in Western Europe since last year still hasn't finished, so that there is an even better chance than usual that it will be sunny and dry, with occasional wind and rain blowing in from the Atlantic.

Sounds fairly accurate to me...... ;)

I prefer that advice to travellers I was given many years ago: Pack for the climate, dress for the weather. A reasonable understanding of the climate will prevent you having to be be prepared for all weather, just that which you are most likely to meet. Which is quite likely to be what it was last year, a point you made earlier.

I agree with @Robo - the weather will be the same as last year, just on different days.
Hi Doug. what r your travel plans for this year. I'm going back to Porto to continue my walk that was interrupted by my fall down stairs in Porto last year. I'm taking a friend who is a Camino newbe with me then travelling g Europe for 8 weeks afterwards. Cheers kiwi Kay

Kay,
My wife and I have booked a unit in Coimbra as a base for just under three months, arriving early Apr. There is still some work to do on where we get to and when, but now my knee has been replaced, I'm thinking about doing some of the Camino Portuguese along the coast from Porto. Alternatively, I will walk to Braga and then Santiago. I think I will be on the hook to help with shopping in Santiago when I get there!!
