Hello,

Still long way to go but starting to look at my options in 2016. I wanted to know on what's the weather like between late Sept and early Oct. My plan is to do the last leg of of CP.

My thoughts on this trip:

1 - Tui to Porino
2 - Porino to Redondela
3 - Redondela to Pontevedra
4 - Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis
5 - Caldas de Reis to Padron
6/7 - Padron to SDC (or split this into 2 Padron to Teo/Teo to SDC)

Thanks

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I walked from Lisbon during the month of September. Those stagesyou plan from Tui come close to matching mine except we walked straight from Tui to Redondela (as noted in my blog in the signature). It may still be a good idea to split it up as you plan though since it is your first day. The stage ends are beautiful towns.

I recall it being pretty darn hot even that far north but it wasn't unbearable. It's a great walk. Bom Caminho!

in 2014 it was wonderful warm weather and then more than a week straight of rain in Galicia with huge mud puddles everywhere and soaking conditions, (and soaked trails).

Well I'm planning to do exactly the same as yourself. route & Dates,I did Tricastella to Santiago on the CF route in may and it poured for the full week. I'm hoping that I couldn't be as unlucky for it to happen again. I was planning to split that first 32km stage into 2 as well. But might just start the other side of the bridge in valancia

Hi Dennis - did this walk from Porto to Santiago in Oct 2014 - from Porto to Padron - the weather was very good - warm sunshine but not to hot - then a couple of days of rain - but this cleared up when we got near to Santiago
A very pleasent trip - easier than the French Way

Walked Sep 2016 and the weather was hot in the afternoon. Only one rain early morning leaving Caldas de Reis.
