i am planning another Camino from mid April 2018. I will have 5 weeks to complete. I do not want to walk the Camino Frances but one of the others. I did the full Camino Portuguese a year ago.

What do you recommend please, paying attention to the weather at that time of the year.
Thanks
Liz

Would you be open to combining two? Madrid to Sahagun is lovely, if you speak the smallest smattering of Spanish you'll feel so welcome - but it can't be stretched to five weeks unless you walk it on your knees...

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Many thanks Heidi, I will do my research and I have been taking Spanish classes weekly since early this year so I think I would get by

I was thinking of starting the vía de Plata in Mérida.i should be able to walk that distance.....

I walked the Norte/Primitivo, starting April 20th, 2016. I had pretty much delightful weather most of the time. There were just a few partial days of drizzle or rain, but my umbrella worked well as it thankfully was never windy. I did have a couple of foggy stretches on the Primitivo section, but I thought it had its own type of beauty. That said, as we all know, weather can vary significantly one year to the next.

Via De La Plata from Seville all the way to Fisterre/Muxia.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

I'm planning on hiking the VdlP from Seville starting about mid-April(16), and allowing 7 weeks or so. I'm also allowing time for rest days at a few of the larger cities. Your company, and/or others, would be welcome. Much can happen during the next 5 months in terms of planning. My work allows for much flexibility. Could you stretch your six weeks into seven?

Boun Camino,

Greg

I haven't walked it myself Liz, but it seems to me the Via de la Plata from Sevilla may be worth looking at for you?
Buen Camino
