Am writing this from Santa Croya de Tera where the weather is 29 degrees Celsius. The last few days have been exceptionally hot fro this time of year and there aren´t many pilgrims to be seen walking or cycling in the heat. I am on the Ourense route with only a handful of other pilgrims and it´s a case of slip, slop, slap. Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat.
