What are your favorite spots from Leon?

Besides the cathedral, it has to be the park near the albergue.

I spend the late afternoon relaxing in the park, watching the kids play, couples lying down on the grass (one would lay on the other's lap), kissing, some eating ice cream, some playing ball, etc.

Exactly like the song from 'Chicago' except it was on a Sunday instead of Saturday.
 
I particularly liked the Basilica de San Isidoro, next door to the cathedral. When I walked in the late '80's the refugio was in the basement of this classic Romanesque building.

I like the Parque San Francisco, across the street from the post office. It´s fenced, full of trees and lovely flowers and fountains, a real oasis amid all the traffic and hubbub.
 
The Cafeteria with internet downstairs at approximately 4 Ave. de Ordono II, about 100 meters from the Plaza de Santo Domingo. It is one of the few places open when the rest of Spain is closed!
