ALSA and Arriva provides bus service to Ribadeo. Arriva website seems to go A Coruna to Naron (Ferrol) and onward to Ribadeo ... a confusing website. I can't figure out where the ALSA bus connects from other than Ponferrada ... a wee bit out of the way.

Many thanks for this. Do you know which urban bus number goes from the airport to downtown, and is the downtown Renfe station simply named 'A Coruna Renfe Station' at which to get off?

As stated the bus number is 443. This bus is interurbano bus operated by autoscalpita. Information is derived from Airport website.

The busurbano site shows a better map than the autoscalpita site.

The information is not clear. I haven't found anything else though.

The A Coruña Renfe Station is indicated on maps as Estacion de Trenes.
