What is the best way to get to Lourdes from Santiago?

My friend and I hope to finish our camnino and Muxia/Finisterre somewhere around 24-26 Oct after about 42 to 46 days walking. We plan to go to Lourdes after our camino (we feel we would be in a better place spiritually after the camino vice before). After we finish walking to Muxia & Finisterra we plan to take the bus back to Santiago to save some time. What time and how often does the bus go from Finisterre? But more importantly is, what is the best way to get to Lourdes from Santiago?

There are a number of ways to get to Lourdes from Santiago.
You could fly - about €1200 and two changes.
You could go on the Alsa bus to Pau - 15 hours and €103 or to Toulouse - 17 hours and €103
Then get a local train to Lourdes. http://www.sncf.com/

You could get an Alsa bus to Irun. 13 hours and €59
There are direct connections to Lourdes from Irun / Hendaye. http://www.sncf.com/

Buses from Fistera to Santiago
M-F 8:20 and 11:45am, 2:45, 4:45 and 7pm;
Sa 11:45am, 1:45, 4:45 and 7pm;
Su 11:45am, 4:45 and 7pm

Depending where you are coming from you be better off visiting Lourdes first rather then X across Spain, from SJPDP to Lourdes is 120 km, you can fly into Toulosuse ,visit Lourdes hop on a train to SJPDP and start your camino, what a great way to start the camino.

Thank you for the info. We feel that we would be in a better place spiritually and mentally visiting Lourdes after our camino vice before. We were able to find a relatively inexpensive flight from Santiago to Barcelona, overnight in Barcelona, and then on to Lourdes the next day for about 132 Euros. We found an albergua near the airport with breakfast included for 41.50 Euros. We couldn't find a Ryan Air flight that would meet our needs during the same period we needed to travel.
