Time of past OR future Camino
2018
Hi guys,
So I plan to quit my job, and do the camino, starting mid April.
What are your thoughts on my choice of the time in the year?
I'm not convinced it would be nicer in the peak of summer months, but I am slightly worried that it might be rainy at the time I've choses.
Let me know your thoughts/ experiences.
All your comments and advice is much appreciated.

You will most probably see some rain, but as the saying goes: There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. So come prepared with good rain gear, and enjoy the start of spring which is an excellent time to be walking. Buen camino!

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I walked starting the last week of April 2015. It rained 3 or 4 days during the 7 weeks I was in Spain. There was only one day that was really miserable - cold and raining buckets. Most people spent lots of time in cafes and stopped early that day. I have walked in the fall and had about the same amount of rain. I prefer spring - the fields are green, and the flowers are out. Go and have a great time! Buen camino!
