Time of past OR future Camino
2015–2018 (partial)
After reading several (actually many) posts about how different people prefer to do a Camino, I thought I should share a story from last year.

I was standing near the wine fountain in Irache. Lady comes up to me and asks (in Spanish), "I heard it wasn't working. Do you know something about that?"

I pointed to the sign that said in English and Spanish that they put in one hundred liters each day, and said "they only put in one hundred liters each day; maybe they ran out."

She turned around and said in English to a group, "The nice gentlemen explained to me that there's only one hundred liters a day …" and some other words. Then the group took a lot of pictures, climbed into a van, and drove away. The punch line is the slogan on top of the van:

Greetings all. I was scheduled to start in Porto in a few days. Went for a 20 km hike yesterday (my longest thus far) and almost didn’t make it. By the time I got home, I could hardly walk...
