A bit of an additional challenge cropped up yesterday.

I might need some help up the hill tomorrow from Sarria and to cut the distance to portomarin if i can.

I think it got moved just past Morgade?

Maybe my Camino is really supposed to be about helping Pat finish hers? Everything seems to happen for a reason on this journey.....

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

The municipal (Xunta) in Ligonde is quite nice and near the 100km marker - walking those shorter distances will keep you both mentally and physically healthy. Let those others race past and just keep moving forward.

Can't witness for these days, once it was in the woods just past the albergue in Barbadello marked 100k a-n-d , no politics intended - YES WE CAN!

A selection of Camino Jewellery
Always appreciated of course!!;););)
Not intended to express politics nor a joke - this particular political statement, "Yes We Can" from years ago received a special new and pertinent meaning after walking some 700k and finding myself before the 100k marker knowing that so very soon I would be in Santiago!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Wherever you two are today, @Robo, may you go well - thinking of you.
Slow is fine. You will get there and it will feel like too soon.
Buen camino!

Just leaving Portomarin. Down to 15 km days

That just makes it last longer :):)

Lunch in the Mirador is still great ;)

Properly the best area for these short days mate.
Mighty effort so far so forget the time frame and soak it up.
G and T when home to recuperate ,
Well done and no crying in the arch way.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I think the 100km marker is a little bit past Morgade. I saw it on Oct 19th, and the location data of the photos from my iPhone says Paradela - A Pena.

BTW, there was a detour around this section of the Camino due to construction, but a hand-made sign on the detour indicates a short path through a field to the 100km marker.Detour Sign.jpgIMG_2359lo.jpg
