Where to Buy a Lightweight Down Sleeping Quilt in Madrid?

I’d like to buy a lightweight down sleeping quilt but I’m currently travelling so I either need to buy it in Madrid when I arrive or purchase it online and have it shipped there. Does anyone know where I can buy one - or - do you know if I can purchase it online and have it shipped to a hotel in Madrid? I wasn’t sure if I’d get hit hard with duty fees. Thanks everyone and Buen Camino!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Buying a light-weight down sleeping bag would be considerably simpler: just Godgle “Decathlon Madrid”. Importing a Down blanket from anywhere outside Spain or the EU will involve you in bureaucracies that even Kafka would have perceived as arcane.
Thanks for the info about the bureaucracy. I will get a sleeping bag from Decathlon if I must but I strongly prefer a quilt.

Most online retailers are very reluctant to ship to a different country than the country that issued your credit card because in a very high proportion of cases this is an indicator of fraud. It is sometimes possible to convince them that you are not acting fraudulently if you provide enough evidence.

You could buy one from Amazon.es and have it shipped to your hotel (check with the hotel first).

Here are a few

This one is down alternative, but is less expensive

If you do end up with a sleeping bag, many can be unzipped to form a quilt.

Make sure that it can be delivered when you need it - I noticed that some delivery dates are the end of January or the beginning of February. But I didn't do a very thorough search.

If you buy outside the EU and have it sent to Spain, you will most likely have to pay taxes and customs duties.

There is also a store called Barrabes, it is kind of similar to an REI or DICKS sporting goods. I purchased a backpack from the in Madrid. They also have other stores around Spain. I think you can check online if they have what you need. Hope it helps! Buen Camino!

This is called in spanish MANTA AMERICANA ( american blanket)
It´s available in Decathlons and army supply stores.
I´ve been using for years my old "manta americana" supplied by the Spanish Army, when am in the camino with no regrets.
I suggest you to search using that name in the net.
Good luck and Buen Camino.
