Starting El Primitivo at Lugo to Santiago de Compostela June 16, 2018
Hi, I have decided to buy walking poles in Spain. Can someone suggest a place in Lugo (I found a place on google map called Campobase...I emailed them but have no response?) or on way out of Lugo on the Primitivo (toward Santiago) in one of the towns? Or if there are shops at Santiago de Compostela Airport that sell them for those arriving to purchase?

Many Thanks!
Connie

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Find a Chinese store bizarre/type. You won't need poles right away so shop. I got mine for 7-Euro each. Other stores we're selling the same for 30-60 Euros.

This would actually be a great public service, if someone wanted to take all of the confiscated hiking poles and sell or give them to arriving pilgrims (you cannot take them through security at Santiago airport, and many pilgrims going home lose their poles at that spot). That's probably not a serious idea, but it would avoid a lot of waste!

Hi, as you come out of the santiago airport close to where you wait for the bus, there is a post office booth. You can buy wooden poles 8 - 10 euros. If you walk the Camino most shops along the way sells the poles wood and aluminium between 5 to 8 euros.
