So my friends and I are renting a vacation house near Baamonde for a goodbye bash Saturday night on the Norte. The house has a bbq. I would love to bbq some chicken and steaks “American style” for my friends. The host says we are welcome to use the bbq but we need to bring the charcoal. Where do you find this in Spain?

Greetings friends.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Any supermarket, "carbón de barbacoa", even the smaller ones, not to mention big ones like MERCADONA or DIA, you might be able to find it even in a ferretería (hardware shop).
Buen provecho! I love the alternative way out of Baamonde, it is a beautiful stretch of forest by the river, absolutely fantastic!!!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Sorry for the late response. It was an amazing night. Charcoal found at local non descript supermercado. Should have gotten 2 bags though, those Spanish outdoor traditional bbqs are huge! Also, fire starter recommended... lucky the nice lady who ran the place had some of those "cubes".
